Universidad Nacional Micaela Bastidas de Apurimac (UNAMBA) is a public institution of higher education created in 2000 located in the city of Abancay, Apurimac department, in Peru.
It has 4 faculties with 9 professional careers oriented to engineering, economics, animal husbandry and education. To date, they train more than 3,600 students.
As stated on its website, UNAMBA’s mission is “to train humanistic, scientific and technological professionals, achieving quality in the student, with values, cultural identity, social responsibility, leadership and a commitment to sustainable development.”
