The Inaugural Issue of UNESCO-ICHEI’s Flagship Publication CLOUD
The inaugural issue of CLOUD, the flagship publication of the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), was officially launched on June 8th, 2021, the 5th anniversary of founding UNESCO-ICHEI! We are excited to share with you all the insightful pieces contributed by global higher education professionals, scholars, and experts, and would also like to invite you to join us in promoting the publication.
The name CLOUD stands for “Connecting Leaders Online for University Digital Transformation”, and the goal of CLOUD is to build a platform for higher education professionals around the globe to share knowledge, project updates, research and best practices related to the digital transformation of global higher education. The theme of the inaugural issue of CLOUD is “Build Back Education Better in the Post-COVID-19 Era” and it consists of six sections: Stories, Us, Lift, Ideas, Digits, and Knowledge.
This issue recollects UNESCO-ICHEI and partners’ remarkable experiences and success in working towards the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) and beyond, and the challenges and opportunities they have encountered along the way, especially under the impact of the pandemic. The publication is also available in all six official languages of the UN—Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish, in order to make our content accessible for more colleagues around the world.
In the spirit of collaboratively building back better a global higher education ecosystem, we would like to invite you to join us in promoting the inaugural issue of CLOUD by sharing the access link on your social media platform, circulating this email with your colleagues or partners in higher education, or in any other format you prefer.
