Call for proposals for the Learning Design and Education for Sustainable Development #ESDBootcamp 2022
As stated in the UNESCO Learn for our planet report (2021): “The way we currently live is not sustainable. Urgent change is needed, but lasting change is impossible without education”. In this framework, UNESCO IESALC has co-organised, along with the American University of Sharjah, The Open University and Anglia Ruskin University, the first Learning Design and Education for Sustainable Development Bootcamp #ESDBootcamp 2022.
Launched on October 5, to celebrate the #WorldTeachersDay, the #ESDBootcamp 2022 is a flexible three-month program that aims to provide the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to overcome the global challenges of today and the future, including climate change, environmental degradation, loss of biodiversity, poverty and inequality.
Available in English and Spanish, this free Bootcamp is addressed to teams of academics, students, learning designers and educational developers who need to design curricular elements that incorporate Education for Sustainable Development #ESD in their activities through a transformative learning method.
The call to apply to the Bootcamp 2022 will be available from October 4, 2021 to Monday 31 January, 2022.
