University education in the modern era faces multiple challenges to meet the training demands of 21st century students. One of the main challenges, considered also as an opportunity, is the assessment of, for and as learning, with a wide range of perspectives, strategies and instruments. Assessment should not be an isolated event, but a set of tasks that mutually feeds back from teaching and learning activities. Therefore, the chapters developed in this book are intended to be a source of information, knowledge, strategies and instruments on various topics related to assessment and learning, for teaching staff and university employees in any area of knowledge, as well as for students interested in the subject. Conceptual, methodological and practical aspects on the assessment of, for and as learning in university scenarios are described and analyzed.
The book is edited by Melchor Sánchez Mendiola and Adrián Martínez González.
