Degrees vs. Credentials: Beyond the All-or-Nothing Debate, at the 23rd Annual “Back to School” Summit

11 September 2024 hora: 4:00 pm - 12 September 2024 hora: 5:30 pm

The annual Back to School Summit in New York is the world’s leading conference for global education leaders, policymakers, philanthropists, and investors. Since 2001, education leaders have gathered in New York the week after Labor Day to share ideas, gain new insights, and make powerful connections with other leaders who are committed to transforming the way the world learns. HolonIQ will host the annual Back to School Summit, continuing the esteemed tradition established by BMO in 2001 when the conference was first launched, and bringing together senior leaders in the sector from around the world.

The 23rd Annual ‘Back to School’ Summit will take place on September 10-11, 2024 in New York City, bringing together 500 CEO’s and influential leaders from leading companies, major institutional investors, and global foundations for two days of presentations, roundtable sessions and private meetings. The 23rd Annual ‘Back to School’ Summit will follow three tracks including private roundtables and dinners, fireside chats and panels, dedicated networking sessions and networking receptions.

On September 11, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., Victoria Galan-Muros, Chief Research and Analysis at UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education; Mark Milliron, President & CEO of National University; and Jane Oates, Senior Advisor at WorkingNation will discuss “Degrees vs. Credentials: Beyond the All-or-Nothing Debate.” Against a backdrop of declining enrollments and waning public confidence in the value of a college degree, this session will explore the evolving landscape of college credentials, examining the past, present, and future of the college degree in an increasingly skills-based world.
