III Congress on Internationalization of Higher Education: New Realities

The III Congress on Internationalization of Higher Education (CIES in Spanish): New Realities, organized by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (National Autonomous University of Honduras), is a virtual congress with a wide participation of national and international institutions that address university activities: teaching, research, liaison, welfare and student life, and university management. The speakers will address topics related to online experiences of international research with a common goal, the adequacy of teaching and academic offerings to virtuality and its impact, the importance of strategic alliances to enhance internationalization between universities, virtual mobilities and all the experience of students, teachers, researchers and administrative staff involved in these processes during the pandemic, which finally show that the internationalization of higher education does not stop, only transforms according to the times we live in. The congress will be held on October 19 and 20, 2022.

CIES will count with the participation of the director of UNESCO IESALC, Francesc Pedró, with a presentation on international trends in the internationalization of higher education and Mauricio Escribens, junior policy analyst at UNESCO IESALC, who will participate in the round table: International Cooperation: Understanding International Aid in Support of Higher Education and Development, on October 19 at 15h30 (GMT-6).
