III Ibero-American Congress on Education for Sustainability in Higher Education Institutions 2024

From April 16 to 18, 2024, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Caracas time, GMT-4), the Red Campus Sustentable de Chile (Sustainable Campus Network of Chile) and the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (Metropolitan University of Technology) will hold, with the collaboration of the Universidad Católica de Temuco (Catholic University of Temuco), Universidad Católica del Maule (Catholic University of Maule), Universidad Bernardo O’Higgins (Bernardo O’Higgins University) and the ENAC Technical Training Center, the III Ibero-American Congress on Education for Sustainability in Higher Education Institutions 2024. Its purpose is to review the progress made with respect to the inclusion of sustainability in the various areas of university work, with the following thematic axes:
1.Institutional commitments
- Incorporation of gender and inclusion
- Linkage with the environment
- Sustainable Development Goals in higher education
2. Academia and Sustainable Culture
- Competencies for sustainability in teachers and students
- Sustainability curriculum (cases and quantification)
- Generation of sustainable culture
- Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and innovation for sustainability.
3. Sustainable Campus Management
- Carbon management and climate change
- Water resources
- Sustainable infrastructure
