International Seminar “Transforming Higher Education: Future Scenarios”

The Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (PUCV) will hold the International Seminar “Transforming Higher Education: Future Scenarios” with the aim of generating a dialogue around collaborative work between Chilean universities to face the challenges of the future, betting on the potential transformer of information and communications technology (ICT).
The objectives are:
– Generate a space for exchange and reflection on the challenges of higher education to face future scenarios, which will serve as a platform to promote some of the thematic axes of the III World Higher Education Conference (WHEC) to be held in May 2022.
– Establish a network of Chilean universities in order to contribute to the reflection and evaluation of ICT in Higher Education, through research, exchange of experiences and dialogue between educational administrations.
Emma Sabzalieva, Senior Policy Analyst along with UNESCO IESALC Junior Policy Analysts Eglis Chacón, Luz Gamarra Caballero and Bosen Lily Liu will discuss the Futures of Higher Education project on January 13, at 9.45 am (GMT-3, Chile).
