Misk Global Forum 2023

UNESCO IESALC is hitting a milestone with its first official participation in the Arab States, by being present at Misk Global Forum 2023 (Nov, 15-17) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. An achievement that reinstates our commitment to fulfill our global mandate to bring solutions focused on the improvement and expansion of higher education for all.
The Misk Global Forum (MGF) is the biggest youth forum in the region, an annual flagship event hosted by Misk Foundation, dedicated to empowering and connecting young leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs globally. MGF serves as a dynamic platform for fostering vibrant discussions, exchanging ideas, and creating networking opportunities to nurture youth potential, encourage collaboration, and catalyze positive global change.
On the first day of the event (Nov 15, 20:30 – 22:00) our Youth, Strategy, and Partnerships team will be hosting a session at Skills Dukkan, the third activation of the forum, a space where skills-focused collaborative workshops will be held by global-level partners, with UNESCO IESALC being one of them. The session, Youth Innovation to Transform Education: Policy and Project Implementation Skills aims through an evidence-based approach, to give the audience the necessary tools to design and implement projects focused on transforming education.
And on its second day (Nov 16, 18:30 – 19:30) the team alongside EStars will present a session focused on the Classroom of the Future and how tech can promote accessibility and inclusion in education for equity-deserving groups. Allowing the audience to take a glimpse into tomorrow’s teaching and learning experiences and how can they have a meaningful impact on the promotion of the Right to Higher Education.
