Presentation of the new issue of the Journal Educación Superior y Sociedad (ESS)

UNESCO IESALC’s Journal Educación Superior y Sociedad (ESS) is pleased to present its most recent edition (Vol. 33, No. 2, 2021), which includes the thematic dossier on the challenges in higher education in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event will take place on Monday, December 13 from 10:00 to 11:00 (Caracas time), by zoom.

In addition to its articles, the issue presents several contributions in its general section, thus configuring a dense and fruitful volume of approaches, written by more than 90 teacher-researchers from different higher education institutions in the region. The issue becomes an important contribution to the essential debate on the pandemic, the post-pandemic and the future of the university and education.

UNESCO IESALC invites you to join the webinar with the participation of the guest editors Hugo Casanova Cardiel, director of the Institute for Research on University and Education, UNAM (Mexico) and Pablo Daniel García, professor-researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center of Training and Studies for Development at UNTREF (Argentina); its general editor Norberto Fernández Lamarra, and UNESCO IESALC’s director, Francesc Pedró, who together with the authors, evaluators and readers from the regional and international academic community, will honor us with their remote presence.
