Webinar: What do youth say about higher education in the future? 

UNESCO IESALC, in partnership with the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) and the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), will hold the webinar “The higher education we want: Youth voices on the futures of higher education”, on September 28, at 9:00h (GMT -4, Caracas) with the objective of launching the report under the same name, on the public consultation conducted with young people on the futures of higher education.

The report incorporates the voices of young people into the analysis on the futures of higher education: their futures of higher education. Young had the opportunity to express their perceptions of their current understanding of higher education, share their thoughts on the role of higher education in their future, and go beyond to identify challenges and opportunities for the futures of higher education in the broader societal setting. Ultimately, the rationale for the youth consultation was the inclusion and empowerment of our future generations.
