Seminar ‘Universal design for e-learning in university environments’.

Learn how to implement universal design to enable the creation of inclusive and accessible virtual learning environments for all learners.

This strategic seminar will focus on understanding the concept of inclusion and how to design resources that are accessible to all types of diverse learners. We will analyse the concept of diversity from a functional, cultural, social, gender and
functional, cultural, social, gender and generational perspectives.

Learning outcomes:

  • Know the difference between inclusion and integration.
  • Understand the possibilities of ICT to promote inclusion.
  • Analyse the importance of personalised education.
  • Identify types of activities for each type of intelligence.
  • Understand the different learning styles of students.
  • Know the applications and accessories that facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities.
  • Create conditions so that people with lesser possibilities have access to and can use ICTs.

It will be given by Ana María Castro Antonio, a psychologist specialised in psychopathology, with more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions in the areas of techno-pedagogical innovation, gamification, attention to diversity, adaptive technology and teacher training.
