International Seminar on Socio-environmental Education and Management | Paraguay

The “International Seminar on Socio-environmental Education and Management” organized by the Environmental Committee of the Montevideo Group Association of Universities (AUGM according to its acronym in Spanish) and the National University of Itapúa (UNI) will be held on November 11 and 12, 2022 in the city of Encarnación, Paraguay.
The Seminar is organized within the framework of the activities of the Environmental Committee of the AUGM, therefore it will bring together experts from several MERCOSUR countries.
The event will be developed through keynote lectures, poster presentations and round tables classified by thematic areas: sustainable development, climate change and environmental education. Its objective is to promote sustainable development in higher education in order to incorporate it as the core of the curriculum, research, extension and institutional operations, in the Network of Public, autonomous and self-governed Universities of the AUGM.
On Friday, November 11 at 9:30 (Paraguayan time GMT-3), Yuma Inzolia, Head of Learning and Capacity Development at UNESCO IESALC, will participate in the keynote lecture “Policies and models of learning in higher education”.
To participate as a speaker in the Socio-Environmental Education and Management Seminar, interested parties may submit their abstracts until October 21, 2022.
