V Eurasian Forum on Quality Assurance in Higher Education

On September 29-30, 2022, the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) is holding the annual V Eurasian Forum on Quality Assurance in Higher Education on the topic: “Sustainable development and the future of higher education”.

The Forum subthemes are:

1. Values and new approaches to the quality of higher education.
2. Expanding access and lifelong learning.
3. Digitalization to improve learning and management efficiency.
4. Enhancing the education system through training of school and university teacher.

The program of the forum will feature rectors, vice-rectors and representatives of Kazakhstani universities, as well as heads of the international networks, foreign accreditation agencies and universities from France, USA, UAE, Austria, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russian Federation.

Emma Sabzalieva, Head of Higher Education Research and Policy Analysis at UNESCO IESALC will present the summative thoughts of the Institute projects on futures of higher education with the respective title “The futures of higher education”and Dana Abdrasheva, fellow at UNESCO IESALC will share Institute’s work on the virtual student mobility with a title “Digital Future? Virtual student mobility and transformations in higher education of Central Asia” (in Russian – Цифровое будущее? Виртуальная академическая мобильность и перспективы перемен в высшем образовании Центральной Азии).

The working languages of the international forum are Kazakh, Russian and English (simultaneous translation).
