Webinar on the University of the Future | Internationalization of Higher Education at UNACH

The Autonomous University of Chiapas through the General Coordination of Inter-institutional Relations organizes annually the academic event called “Conference on Internationalization of Higher Education”.
This year, as a result of the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it will be held again virtually through digital platforms on Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 and Thursday November 18 of this year, from the headquarters of this House of Studies in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico.
The objective of the conference is to present the new models and strategies that various actors are planning or implementing in order to incorporate the international dimension to university functions as a means to improve the quality of higher education in a post-pandemic world. The event is aimed at the university communities of Mexico and the world.
JIES presents nine speakers from Venezuela, the United States, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, the Netherlands, Colombia and Mexico who will share their ideas and experiences related to the topic.
José Antonio Quinteiro, Programs Coordinator at UNESCO IESALC, will present the conference: Challenges and new schemes for the internationalization of higher education in the post-Covid-19 era, on November 16 at 10.10 (Chiapas time, Mexico).
The JIES 2021 is open access and the presentations can be viewed synchronously through the zoom platform with the right to a certificate of attendance (limited capacity): register here.
